Spring Break Travel Providers

Don't get duped into making Spring Break reservations with an unreliable travel provider. You could end up stranded in the airport, staying in a shoddy hotel miles from any beach, or faced with hundreds in extra surcharges. No matter how great the deals might sound, always research your travel provider before committing to any trip. It could mean the difference between enjoying the trip of a lifetime and wasting your hard-earned cash on a travel nightmare.

First and foremost, always work with a reputable Spring Break travel provider. We've provided our recommendations below, but it's a good idea to ask the following questions before booking a trip:

-How much experience does the agency have?
-What exactly is included in the trip cost? (Meals, drinks, etc.)
-What additional fees will apply?
-What type of accommodations are included?
-Will staff representatives be on location in the event of any problems?
-Who is financially responsible in the event of travel delays?
-What is the cancellation/refund policy?
-Will I need to purchase travel insurance? (For more on this, see our guide to travel insurance.)

Spring Break Travel Providers
From parties to clubs to the hottest Spring Break resorts, these travel providers were created to help you have the greatest week of your life. They know what students want and do their best to put together the best packages at the lowest possible prices. If you want to visit a sunny location, a Spring Break travel provider is the way to go. Check out our recommendations:

Spring Break Travel, Inc.
(800) 678-6386
Offers trips to Nassau, Cancun, Acapulco, Negril, Daytona Beach, Panama City, and a Bahamas party cruise. You'll find trip reviews from students themselves and an elaborate ranking system for each location. Their packages include port and departure taxes, hotel taxes, security fees, ship gratuities, and round-trip transfers. This site is by far the most comprehensive of all spring break providers we've come across. In addition to the rankings, you'll find detailed descriptions of every hotel at every destination, as well as a rundown of all optional activities. Spring Break Travel is accredited by ASTA, IATAN, and the BBB.

Student City.com
(800) 293-1443
Offers trips to Cancun, Mazatlan, the Bahamas, Jamaica, Acapulco, Barbados, Panama City, Daytona Beach, South Beach, Key West, and South Padre Island. Student City has staff members on location at each destination 24/7. Most of their packages include round-trip transfers, service charges, and gratuities. You'll pay extra for government departure taxes and fees, as well as processing charges. Student City.com offers a 150% refund if a lower price is found for international destinations. They also offer optional meal plans and party packages, including free drinks and admission to clubs.

Sun Splash Tours
(800) 426-7710
Offers trips to Acapulco, Barbados, Cancun, Daytona Beach, Mazatlan, Montego Bay, Negril, Nassau, Panama City, South Beach, and South Padre Island. They provide 24-hour onsite staffing and have weekly promotions that offer big savings on Spring Break packages. Sun Splash Tour packages include transfers, hotel taxes, free drinks, covers, and parties.

Paradise Parties
(877) GO-PARADISE
Offers trips to Mazatlan, Cancun, Acapulco, Bahamas, South Padre Island, Jamaica, Barbados, Daytona Beach, Key West, Panama City, and South Beach. Paradise Parties has a 150% best price guarantee and provides 24-hour onsite staffing at all locations. You'll also be designated a personal account manager for all your travel concerns. Their packages include round-trip transfers, and some plans include free drinks, meals, and covers.

Student Travel Providers
If you're looking to spend your week off somewhere other than Cancun (or doing something other than partying), you might want to consider a student travel provider that focuses on travel outside the most popular resort destinations. Here are a few of the best:

Contiki Tours
(888) CONTIKI
Contiki Tours offers vacation packages for 18-35 year olds to locations throughout Canada, the United States, Europe, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji. Contiki is perfect for students traveling solo or those wanting to experience more exotic destinations. The majority of their packages are land-only, so you are responsible for air travel to and from your destination. Contiki is accredited by both the USTOA and SYTA.

STA Travel
(800) 781-4040
STA is a great student vacation planning resource that is worth visiting for all arrangements, not just Spring Break. They offer specialized Spring Break tours to Acapulco, Amsterdam, the Bahamas, Barbados, Breckenridge, Cabo, Cancun, Chamonix, Daytona Beach, Innsbruck, Keystone, Kitzbuhel, London, Mazatlan, Montego Bay, Oahu, Panama City, Paris, South Beach, South Padre Island, St. Moritz, and Zemat. STA has both charter and non-charter packages, which include transfers, meal plans, VIP packages (including free covers), and most taxes. Some packages require the purchase of travel insurance.
